Who we are
Julian Powell is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in the electronics industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and is trained in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the federal law regulating hazardous waste management.
With over 40 years of experience, Julian has worked in various roles, including manufacturing, quality control, wastewater treatment, air pollution control, and hazardous waste management. His work has taken him around the world, including Singapore, Korea, Israel, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, and Germany. He has worked with supercomputer manufacturers worldwide and has provided support to the US Department of Defense Microelectronics Research Laboratory.
In 1995, Julian founded Zentech to address the need for safe disposal of end-of-life electronic equipment. He has also advised the Hazardous Waste Division of the State of Georgia Environmental Protection Division and the Computer Disposal and Recycling Council on e-waste issues.
Originally from Wales, UK, Julian has been a naturalized citizen of the United States for 47 years.
